This is an English translation of the Korean Privacy Policy. If there is any discrepancy, the Korean version prevails.
kg.log (the "Service") complies with applicable data protection laws, including Korea's Personal Information Protection Act, and processes your personal information only to the extent necessary to provide the Service. This policy explains what personal information the Service processes, for what purposes, and what rights you have.
The Service processes personal information only for the following purposes. If a purpose changes, we will notify you in advance and obtain any necessary consent.

Weight records may be considered health-related information, so the Service does not use them for any purpose other than those above, and never for advertising or sale. Usage statistics never include record contents such as weight values or goal weight.
If you use the Service without signing in, your records are stored only on your device (browser or app) and are not collected by the Service. The recent weights and goal shown in the iOS app's home screen widgets are stored only on your device and are not sent to a server.
Personal information is destroyed without delay once the retention period ends or the purpose of processing is achieved.
The Service does not provide your personal information to third parties, except where required by law or requested by an investigative authority under legally prescribed procedures.
The Service outsources the processing of personal information as follows to operate smoothly.

The Service transfers personal information abroad as follows for data storage and sign-in. If you do not want your information transferred abroad, you can use the Service without signing in or request account deletion; in that case, account-based features (such as syncing across devices) are unavailable.

You may exercise the following rights at any time.
You can view, edit, and delete your weight records directly in the app. If you are signed in, you can receive all your records as a CSV file by email (by default, to your sign-up email) via "Export → Send records" in Settings. You can delete your account yourself with "Delete account" in Settings, which immediately deletes your account and all records saved in it. If you have already removed the app, you can sign in to the web version (kglog.app) with the same account and delete it there, or email the privacy officer below with your sign-up email address to request deletion. For any other request, email the privacy officer below and we will handle it without delay and tell you the result. You may also exercise your rights through a legal representative or an authorized agent.
The Service stores the following information in your browser.
The Service does not use advertising cookies, and does not use Google Analytics' ad personalization or Google signals. It also does not enable the setting that shares Google Analytics data to improve other Google products and services.
You can refuse cookies in your browser settings, or refuse usage statistics collection by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Refusing does not limit your use of the Service.
You can delete or block site data in your browser settings; in that case you may be signed out, or records you kept without signing in may be lost. When font services (Google Fonts, jsDelivr) are accessed to display the Service, connection information such as your IP address may be passed to those providers.
The Service designates a privacy officer as below to oversee personal information processing and to handle related inquiries, complaints, and remedies.

To seek relief for a personal information violation, you may apply for dispute resolution or consultation with the following organizations.
This policy applies from October 21, 2026. If content is added, removed, or changed, we will announce it in the Service starting 7 days before it takes effect, and 30 days before for significant changes to your rights.
